Surpassing 1,000 Units Delivered: Apollo and PanGood Power the Glory of "Zhan Zun"
Release Time:2026.02.11
Recently, a new batch of customized PanGood axial flux electric drive systems has been progressively delivered to Zhejiang Apollo Sports Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Apollo"). These systems are installed in the brand's hottest "Zhan Zun" series of electric off-road motorcycles, providing riders with stronger burst power and extended range.
As a global manufacturing company focused on the off-road motorcycle sector for over two decades, Apollo exports its products, including off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), to more than 75 countries such as the United States and France, with an export rate nearing 100%. In August 2025, Apollo's "Zhan Zun" made its debut at the 15th Red Bull Tennessee Knockout (TKO) Extreme Endurance Race, achieving an impressive 6th place in the professional category. This remarkable performance garnered widespread attention and acclaim within the global off-road community.

For Apollo, the motor is the "heart" of an electric motorcycle. Traditional radial flux motors struggle to meet the dual demands of lightweight design and high power in off-road applications. Through collaborative development with PanGood, Apollo has successfully implemented "axial flux motor" technology—typically reserved for top-tier electric supercars—into its off-road electric motorcycles. Featuring a more compact structure, higher power density, and superior low-speed torque output, this innovation enables deep integration of the motor and frame within limited space. This significantly lowers the vehicle's center of gravity, enhancing handling stability and escape capability on complex terrains, which forms the core confidence for its international racing campaigns.

The PanGood PDS15K electric drive unit equipped on the Apollo "Zhan Zun" delivers a peak power of 15kW and a peak wheel torque of approximately 600N·m—equivalent to the burst power of a traditional 250cc combustion engine. Its broad high-efficiency operating range ensures responsive power delivery and minimal range degradation under extreme conditions such as continuous climbs and mud traversing. Furthermore, the motor boasts a higher protection rating, effectively resisting erosion from common off-road hazards like mud, dust, and water pits, enabling a more exhilarating and liberated riding experience.
From January to December 2025, PanGood has cumulatively delivered over 1,000 sets of axial flux electric drive systems to Apollo. All units have been applied to mass-production models and race-specific versions of the "Zhan Zun" series, injecting powerful green momentum into the global off-road journey of electric motorcycles.
