Release Time:2026.05.29

Recently, 16 models of axial flux motors independently developed by PanGood officially passed the certification of China Classification Society (CCS). Covering a power range from 70 to 1,000 horsepower, these motors are compatible with various marine propulsion forms including pure electric and hybrid drives. This marks a major breakthrough in China's high-end electric drive technology for ships, obtaining an authoritative passport to enter the global marine market.

As the sole professional technical inspection body for ships in China, China Classification Society imposes stringent certification standards that enjoy high international recognition, providing an important endorsement for the safety and compliance of marine equipment. During this certification process, CCS conducted comprehensive and rigorous testing on PanGood's axial flux motors across multiple dimensions, including design specifications, manufacturing processes, safety performance, environmental adaptability, and long-term reliability. All product indicators met the certification requirements, demonstrating solid technical strength and dependable quality.

As a leading enterprise in the field of axial flux technology, PanGood's motors offer four core advantages: high power density, high efficiency and energy savings, lightweight construction, and high reliability. Compared with conventional motors, the axial length can be reduced by about two-thirds, and weight is reduced by more than 50%. For example, with a 700-horsepower machine, a conventional motor weighs more than 4 metric tons, while the drive system using an axial flux motor with a closed-loop cooling system weighs less than 400 kg. This frees up valuable onboard space for the vessel, lowers the center of gravity, provides a more economical propulsion solution, and brings superior navigation stability.

Furthermore, the peak efficiency of PanGood's axial flux motors reaches up to 92.5% in both key efficiency zones, which is highly beneficial for improving energy utilization and enhancing range. Manufactured to new energy vehicle-grade validation standards, the motors achieve a full IP68 protection rating and pass more than 1,000 hours of salt spray testing, delivering excellent corrosion resistance and high reliability for long-term adaptation to complex inland waterway hydrological and environmental conditions.

In collaboration with industry chain partners, new energy vessels equipped with PanGood's axial flux electric drive solutions have already covered more than 20 countries and regions around the world. At world-class events and exhibitions such as the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge and the Venice International Boat Show, these solutions have comprehensively showcased the "China Definition" of new energy marine propulsion systems.
