Recently, a Malaysian mining site introduced a new batch of 6×4 pure electric dump trucks equipped with PanGood’s PDS450KCA electric drive system as the core power source. This achievement comprehensively optimizes the vehicle’s configuration and dynamic performance, effectively enhancing the customer’s transportation efficiency and profitability.

The PDS450KCA was forward-developed by PanGood specifically for the operational conditions of heavy-duty trucks, balancing high-intensity work requirements and challenges posed by complex road conditions. The system boasts a peak power of 450 kW and an output torque of nearly 24,000 N·m, paired with a dedicated electric heavy-duty truck transmission. This ensures smooth and efficient power delivery, enabling effortless performance in high-intensity scenarios such as heavy-load uphill climbs and frequent starts and stops.

Notably, this drive system weighs only 355 kg and has an axial dimension of 755 mm. Compared to solutions using radial flux motors, it reduces weight by nearly 200 kg and shortens the axial dimension by approximately 340 mm. This design enhances the vehicle’s load capacity and offers greater flexibility in chassis layout. The PanGood ICS450K axial flux motor achieves an efficiency of over 92.5% in more than 92.5% of operating conditions, demonstrating superior adaptability to various working conditions and lower energy consumption for the same operational capacity. This contributes significantly to reducing ton-kilometer transportation costs.

The mining site transportation manager remarked, "China’s new energy electric drive technology has attracted global attention." Since their deployment, these vehicles have consistently performed in a "stable and powerful" manner, delivering robust power from start and showing no hesitation even during heavy-load uphill climbs.
